The b is for bus.
We have one camping trip under our belt and wooo-eeee, I am raring to go and do a bundle more. I love it! We learned a lot in our one overnight trip:
1. Even if it is 80 degrees during the day, you will need more than a light cotton blanket at night.
2. Bring matches.
3. Don't let the dog wander out onto the waterfall.
No, #2 is not a coded statement that we use as warning that someone is approaching while the other person pees. It happened. Chewie thought the dry areas on the side of the waterfall looked like a loverly place for a stroll. I still see the slo-mo replay in my head... his back legs sliding out from under him when he met a wet area... then he is on his side, bouncing relaxedly down... I shriek. We run down the stairs, and because of some bushes we can't see him. Then when we get to the bottom, there he is, in the drink, blinking into the son and looking stoic (as always).
This is a photo of the waterfall that I found on the web.
Sure, it looks rather benign, but think about it. Would you want to find yourself sliding down it uncontrollably? I think not. Oh, by the way, except for some minor scrapes, Chewie was fine.
